Meet Kelly Brubaker, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist serving Berks & Lancaster counties and online across Pennsylvania.

It’s time to find joy in life again.

On the outside it looks like you’ve got it all together, but on the inside you’re drowning. Your breaking point is close. You just need someone to throw you a lifeline.

You’re in the right place.

Welcome

You can take a deep breath now and just relax on the couch.

Therapy with me is a place where you can come as you are and grow into who you want to be. I am down-to-earth, accepting, and clients note the genuine care I have for everyone I work with. I can hold the space for tough moments, while also laugh with you during the good. I strive to create a space where you can feel empowered to grow and thrive as a person.

But I get it, it can still be incredibly unnerving sharing your story with a complete stranger. And so, I create a space where you can feel like it’s just two human beings having a conversation, and less of provider-patient feeling.

In session, I use a combination of family systems, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral modalities to help you understand what you are experiencing currently, as well as the origins of the symptoms, and then develop the skills necessary to meet your goals.

Together, we discuss what will be most beneficial to you to feel like your best self. That may include learning specific skills to quiet an inner critic or cope with anxiety and depression. Perhaps it’s gaining confidence to set healthy boundaries in your relationships. Or just having a space to be supported through challenging periods of life. I tailor my approach to meet your needs and the pace you want to go at, while still keeping you accountable to your goals.

I am dedicated to helping people find peace and connection.

You may be coming to me feeling misunderstood by past therapists or desiring someone who will do more than “just listen and nod”. I want you to know that I will do my best to make you feel seen and understood. I will also listen when you need to just process and engage in active dialogue when you need direction.

You also want someone who gets you. Not only do I have over 10 years of experience working with these populations and issues, but I’m also no stranger to them myself. I am a millennial who has struggled with the highs and lows of life, while navigating the bumpy transitions into college, adulting, marriage, and parenthood. And so, I know how challenging life can be at times.

However, I believe that change is possible. Like life, therapy is a journey. We may come into it feeling lost, but if we’re fully engaged in the process, we can leave feeling like our best selves.

I want to support you on that journey today!

“The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others.”

– Albert Schweitzer
